Dear Joy,
Words simply cannot express our appreciation for the fabulous job you did with the decorations for our wedding. The bouquet, boutonnières, and corsages were gorgeous – we received so many compliments on them from friends and family who were shocked when I informed them that the flowers were artificial. And you added such pizzazz to the cookie table, cake table, and entryway.
When our hall changed the policy on decorations two weeks before our wedding date, I thought that we had wasted countless hours of planning and our hard-earned money on items that we could no longer use. You quickly made us realize this was not the case. You spoke to our hall and tried to work out a plan to use our decorations. Instead of becoming frustrated when the hall would not accommodate any of your ideas, you improvised. Because you spent so much time talking to us about our vision for the day, you were able to come up with new and creative ideas at the very last minute that we LOVED. You implemented your ideas with remarkable ease – you never made us feel that this unexpected situation was an imposition to you, although we know that in reality it was. Even more amazing, you did not charge us for the decorations that could not be used – even though I know you purchased fabric specifically for our event. Truly, your flexibility and understanding nature were an amazing blessing to us.
Most importantly, Joy, you extended your friendship to us throughout this entire process and acted more like a friend than a vendor. You made us feel completely comfortable with you; you had everything under control even when we felt like things were getting chaotic. It is clear to us that you were meant to be a wedding decorator! Please, refer any potential clients to us if they need some reassurance – we will recommend you to our friends and family for years to come!
