Joy, I cannot tell you enough how happy I was with all the decorating you did at our daughters wedding reception and the cookie tables looked wonderful too. Beth has dreamed of this day for as long as I can remember and you helped all of her dreams come true. Using our winter and snowflake theme, the centerpieces you designed were absolutely beautiful. When Beth told me she hated the stage at the hall, I was a little panicked but you came up with the most beautiful Winter Wonderland scene for our guests to take pictures at. The way you listened and treated us like close friends instead of clients gave us peace of mind during a very exciting but stressful time. Thank you for wanting to make my daughter's day so special. I pray you get the opportunity to put smiles on many more brides faces.

The chocolate fountain we rented from Joy was the perfect treat for our party! We used it for a college graduation party for 90 people and it was the perfect size. The kids especially loved it. We even had chocolate leftover. It looks gorgeous on a food table and adds that extra special touch. The centerpieces for the tables were perfect too. Colorful to catch your eye - but inexpensive. We got lots of compliments.

We were on a tight budget and I thought I could decorate for our own small/outdoor wedding. Once I purchased the flowers - I didn't know what to do with them. Luckily I found Joyous Occasions Decorating and what a blessing that was!!! I turned over all of the things I had bought to Joy and she made such beautiful centerpieces for the reception and stayed within my budget. The most amazing part of this whole scenario is I only found her three weeks before my wedding and she was able to accommodate my needs. Thank you Joy!!!!

I needed a centerpiece for my neices baby shower. I told Joy the theme, which was books and frogs, and that the baby was a girl. She made the most beautiful centerpiece! Instead of using a regular vase or container for the centerpiece, she made a box and glued classic books (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs) to the box which made the base for the centerpiece. She filled it with a beautiful pink floral arrangement and added a frog beanie baby to the flower mix. What imagination!!!!!!!

While trying to plan a graduation party - I knew the basics of what I wanted, but wasn't sure how much everything was going to cost. My main focus was on the food, but yet I wanted everything to look nice. When I contacted Joy and explained to her what I was looking for - she offered to make up several centerpieces in different price ranges and I could pick from what she showed me. After talking with other decorators, I was so surprised at the variety of centerpieces Joy could offer me in different price ranges. She was so easy to work with. She even gave me ideas of things I could make myself to save money. Every time I spoke with Joy she was very pleasant. Other places I had called made me feel as though I was interrupting them and a bother. I didn't spend a lot of money - but I was certainly treated as though I had. If you are trying to make a decision on which decorator to use, I promise, you won't be disappointed in the service you'll receive from Joyous Occasions Decorating.

Dear Joy - I just wanted to send a quick "thank-you" for adding such a pretty touch to the tables for my shower. I got so many compliments on the fabric draping of the tables. Everyone said they'd never seen such pretty tables for a bridal shower.

I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful Joy has been! I was hosting a baby shower for my first grandchild and wanted this to be a very special, intimate gathering. I didn’t want to have a traditional baby shower in a hall or banquet room and my house wasn’t big enough to seat 35 people for lunch - but really didn’t know where to begin. I called Joy just to see what she would recommend for centerpieces - breaking away from the tradition of pink and blue. That was the start of it all. When I told her what type of atmosphere I wanted for the shower but didn’t know how to go about it, she had some great ideas. A few days later Joy called me back with an idea of having the shower at a bed and breakfast - and she had names of places and phone numbers for me. I visited a few places and decided we could create the atmosphere I was hoping to have. Joy actually printed the shower invitations for me and addressed them too. The invitations were ADORABLE!!! (They had a ribbon with a charm of baby booties attached to them.) After lunch we all moved to a large room with a fireplace and overstuffed couches while the gifts were opened. Joy had also given me alternatives to shower games that were very personalized for my daughter-in-law who is very sentimental. The entire shower - from the invitations, the location, the atmosphere, the guest involvement to the centerpieces (which I originally called for) could not have been more fitting for this “joyous occasion”. Joy certainly lives up to her name - she is such a joy!

creative ideas. The fabric drapped ceiling at my reception was absoultely
beautiful. I received so many compliments on it. The centerpieces were
simply goregous as well. The chair covers added an extra touch of class to
